carlosjdrew asked: Do you know if there is any plan for Jessica in Marvel in the near future or she is going to rest a time after her happy endining? Thanks for two years of absolutely happiness Sir.

Jess will definitely be in my first Doctor Strange arc.

thatisparadoxical asked: Hey Dennis there's something kind of troubling about the fact that Bobby's like sixteen and the guy he flirted with in ANXM #13 is apparently is his 20s - can you comment on that? Even privately.

Bobby’s older than you think. None of the guys he flirted with were much older than him. Marvel character ages (especially young ones) are tricky because we rarely flat out state them, but nothing at all creepy intended. Everyone involved is of appropriate age.

The art in this issue… No words.

theoldestliie asked: so are the coconut popsicles that scott likes from x-men: season 1 going to appear in a future issue of all-new x-men?

Ha. I had forgotten that. We’ll try to work it in.

Spider-Woman #5 preview pages in this article about Dennis Hopeless superfamily and Jessica Drew, of course.

This issue could not have been easy to draw. Javier and Alvaro delivered mad science on every single panel. It’s an absolute visual treat.

It was also the most challenging script I’ve ever written (by a mile). Super proud of this one. I hope everyone checks it out.

secretsalute asked: So back in Spider-Woman #10, it was Natasha that came to get Jessica and bring her back to the Avengers. Why Natasha and not say, Carol?

Because Jessica’s pre-Secret Wars missions had already been shown in the pages of Hickman and Co.’s Avengers books… Where she spent most of her time with Black Widow. Our goal with issue #10 was to sew together that story and ours. Just made more sense for it to be Natasha.

Seconded.

carlosjdrew asked: Previews issue #4 of Jessica is a jewel! I'll miss to Javier in Spider-Women think that you and he is enjoying much doing Spider-Woman is a perfect team Any chance that both will return life's Jess after Spider-Women or issue 5 is the end of both?

Javier and I are working out #8 this week.

“The initial radical act happens in the first sentence of the story. Jessica declares, “I never wanted children. Not even a little.” In the span of a page, she is shown caressing her pregnant belly. She is not judged nor does she offer an explanation. All that is said is, “Things change.” There is no long debate about her decision. There is no applause or condemnation but just the truth of her decision. Talk about subversive.”
